Science

P94M aligns its science instruction with the D75 Science Scope and Sequence. It is a guide that supports teachers with science instruction and learning and is used for K-12 students participating in Alternate Assessment.  The science curriculum focuses on studies of the environment and the physical world. At every step, the aim is for students to develop the necessary tools and skills for scientific inquiry.

The science unit cycles through a three year rotation and covers areas such as:

• Building a Science Community
• Life Science
• Earth and Space Science
• Physical Science

The curriculum is paced for each grade band such as K-2, 3-5, middle school and high school. The curriculum also embeds a lego education STEM connection within each unit.
